E. Reff-Presco
Scholar-Curator | Cultural Leader | Institution Builder
I bring ambitious curatorial ideas to life, build cultural infrastructure, and create spaces where art, history, and contemporary life meet.
Working across contemporary art and the African Diaspora, I develop exhibitions and cultural initiatives that challenge inherited narratives, amplify underrepresented voices, and expand how we understand the world through art. My practice connects curatorial vision with institutional strategy, translating ideas into exhibitions, programs, and experiences that invite audiences to see differently.
About Dr. E. Reff-Presco
Scholar-Curator | Cultural Leader | Institution Builder
Dr. Eden Reff-Presco is a scholar-curator, cultural leader, and educator whose work connects contemporary art, African American art, the African Diaspora, and the development of cultural spaces. Her practice moves across exhibition-making, scholarship, institutional development, and creative initiatives. She approaches curating as both an intellectual and practical endeavor, bringing artworks, artists, histories, and contemporary questions into conversation while considering the systems and relationships that enable cultural work to thrive.

Through her curatorial practice and leadership in gallery and educational environments, Reff-Presco explores how exhibitions can challenge inherited narratives, expand cultural understanding, and create meaningful experiences for diverse audiences. Her work extends beyond the gallery through teaching, public engagement, consulting, and initiatives designed to support artists and creative practitioners. Across these activities, she is interested in the possibilities that emerge when rigorous scholarship, imaginative thinking, and thoughtful institutional practice meet.

Reff-Presco is also the founder of Global ArtSpeak Alliance, through which she pursues broader opportunities for cultural exchange and engagement with the arts.
